My Favorite Music/Song
For my last blog i decided to write about my favorite type of music because its really important to me and its an important part of my life because their is always a song that goes with what you are feeling that day. My favorite type of music is banda and corridos. I used to hate this type of music but i realized that their is a lot of cute songs that talk about love and stuff like that. I used to listen to english music but i realized that the songs are dumb and they dont talk about anything important. My favorite artists are la arrolladora banda el limon, banda ms, banda el recodo, espinoza paz and many more artists. I like a lot of songs but my favorite one right now is called sanguinarios del m1 because it includes a lot of artists in it.
TV: Nuestra Belleza Latina Winner
Last sunday was the season finale of the show and i was very excited to see who the winner would be. Their was four girls left and America voted and chose the winner. Personally i never voted and i regeret it now because i didnt like the girl that won. In fourth place was Jenny Arzola, in third place was Nicole Suarez, in second place was Gredmarie Colon and the winner was Nastassja Bolivar. I wanted Nicole or Jenny to win because i did not like the other two. The winner was very beautifufl but she could barely speak spanish and Nuestra Belleza Latina is supposed to represent latinos and i think that in order to be a good representative she needs to learn spanish fluently.
Quinceaneras Magazine
This magazine is about quinceaneras and it gives you new ideas and advice for planning your quinceanera. I was in a beauty pageant for this magazine and if you win you get to be on the cover. Unfortuneatley i lost but it was a fun experince and i met a lot of new friends. Eventhough i lost the competition i still came ou tin the magazine on two pages. Overall it was a fun experience and it opened up many doors for me. For example after the competition the magazine asked me to model in fashion shows for them and so far i have been in three of their expos. Its a lot of fun and eventhough i lost the competition it still turned out good for me.

Edible Fashion
The picture on the left is a german chocolate bubble dress. It is made of 100% solid chocolate, this edible bustier bubble dress was carefully worn by German model Alena Gerber for an annual show in Munich in January 2010. The picture on the left is a beef jerky Chanel bag. It is made of 100% beef jerky, this take on the classic Chanel bag was created by hand-sewing sheets of the air-dried meat. It's definitely as durable as any Italian leather. Both pieces are very unique and look fragile and delicate i bet they took a long time to make.

Fashion Icon: Audrey Hepburn
Hepburn's stardom created her status as a fashion icon, exercising fashion both in her lifetime while continuing to influence fashion today. She appeared on the covers of Vogue and Harper's Bazaar. Her style was partially the result of the meeting with the couturier Hubert de Givenchy during the filming of Sabrina in 1954 who designed her dresses for the film. Givenchy remained Hepburn's friend, his muse and ambassador throughout her life who always amazed, even after many years of collaboration. Fashion experts have said that Hepburn's longevity as a style icon was because she stuck with a look that suited her – "clean lines, simple yet bold accessories, minimalist palette. She was also voted the most beautiful woman of all time. My favorite movie she did is Breakfast at Tiffany's i really liked this movie because it was funny but it also made me cry at the end.

Feather Hair Extensions
Feather hair extensions are a hot new trend, and can be treated just like one’s natural hair. They are hand picked little rooster featheras and they come in many colors sizes and patterns. You can choose if you want them placed in your hair, and even create the look of highlights with them. They are applied similar to a locking type of hair extension, so it’s not harsh on your hair. Once you select the feathers you want, your stylist will place them on your hair, then clamp them down with this little bead that will keep the feathers in place. They won’t hurt, and they won’t fall out. Usually, they can be straightened, washed, blow-dried and curled, and they last anywhere from 2-7 weeks.
OPI Shatter Nail Polish
OPI revolutionized nail polish last year when the nail polish company released its first Shatter top coat in black. The polish is unique because it leaves a crackled, two-texture finish when painted on the nail, and many people enjoy coming up with cool and different color combinations to paint the black Shatter over a rainbow of hues. Now OPI just announced that it will release more Shatter shades they include Blue, Navy, and Turquoise which makes up the Shatter collection, and Serena Williams’ new Glam Slam! collection will include Shatter in both red and white. All five Shatters hit stores May 1st for $8.50 per bottle.
